Weekend Events: April 20th Edition
Happy Friday, Eastie! I hope everyone had a great April Vacation week (for those who were off)! New events have been added to the site.. Check them out below.
The Fair Foods $2 Bags of Produce will be available at the EBNHC from 2:30-4pm today. Remember, this is a first-come, first-serve, CASH ONLY event.
Laura Dove Photography is hosting Motherhood Minis at Piers Park Saturday, April 21st, from 9am-12pm.
Eastie Farm is hosting Youth Service Day from 10am-2pm.
The East Boston YMCA is hosting their Healthy Kids Day 2018 from 11am-1pm. There will be lots of free and fun activities for children that promote health and wellness.
The 18th Annual East Boston Open Studios will be open at the Atlantic Works Gallery from 12-6pm. This will also be open on Sunday as well.
The next $5 community class at The Point EB is from 12-1pm.
The next Yu-Gi-Oh club for teens at the library is from 1-4pm.
The Point EB is hosting Poetry of Yoga on Sunday, April 22nd, from 2-4pm.
The East Boston Kids Pop-Up Choir will meet at the library on Monday, 23rd, from 5-6pm. They will also meet on Thursday of next week.
The next ESL and computer skills class for BPS parents is at the YMCA on Tuesday, April 24th, from 10am-12:30pm. This will also meet on Wednesday.
The Eliot School Tinkering and Inventions Program is hosting a 7-week problem-solving program for children ages 7-10 at the East Boston Library. This starts on Tuesday at 4pm and will run weekly.
The next Tech Goes Home class will meet from 6-8pm.
The next East Boston YMCA art class for kids ages 6-12 will meet on Wednesday, April 25th, from 4-5pm.
The next Wednesday night Zumba class at the Marty Pino Gym will run from 6:30-7:30pm.
EHCA’s monthly meeting is at 7pm at the high school.
The East Boston Winter Farmers Market will be open at the EBNHC on Thursday, April 26th, from 12-4pm.
The East Boston Library is hosting an informative LGBTQ Q+A session for teens from 4-5:30pm.
The next Namastay Sober community class will run from 5:15-6:15pm at The Point EB.
Friends of the East Boston Greenway’s monthly meeting is at 6:30pm.
There is a community forum at the high school on school safety also at 6:30pm.
