Happy Friday, Eastie! Another week, another set of events! Take a look below at what’s going on in the neighborhood this weekend.
Boston City Councilor Lydia Edwards is hosting her monthly coffee hour this morning at Angela’s Cafe (OH) from 10am-12pm.
There is a “Life’s A Beach” Festival at Constitution Beach from 10am-2pm. There will be sand art, giant lobsters, singing, jugglers, circus performers, etc!
The Fair Foods $2 Bags of Produce will be available at the EBNHC from 2:30-4pm. Remember, this is a first-come, first-serve, CASH ONLY event.
A community event, Maverick Community Connector, will be going on at LoPresti Park from 5:30-8:30pm. There will be lots of activities, food and fun happening!
The EVFA is hosting their next Mom’s Night Out at The Reelhouse starting at 7pm.
NOAH is hosting their next movie night starting at 8pm at Putnam Square. They will be showing Lilo and Stitch.
The next $5 community class at The Point EB is from 12-1pm on Saturday, July 20th.
Sacred Heart Parish is hosting their Annual Summer BBQ from 5-8pm.
NUBE is hosting a summer fiesta from 7:30-10:30pm.
There is a Salsa Social at Piers Park on Sunday, July 21st, from 5-8pm.
The next Fresh Truck Food (Mobile) Market will be down Maverick Square from 3-6pm on Monday, July 16th.
GSCA’s monthly meeting is at 6:30pm.
The next Recycled Art Workshop is from 11am-1pm on Tuesday, July 22nd.
There is an abutters meeting regarding 221-223 Saratoga Street at 6pm.
The next free summer meals for kids and teens under 18 will be from 4-5pm at the East Boston Farmers Market on Wednesday, July 25th.
The library is hosting an adult painting class from 4-6pm.
The Boston Parks Summer Fitness Series’ next Zumba class down Lopresti Park is at 6pm.
The next Wednesday night Zumba class at the Marty Pino Gym will run from 6:30-7:30pm.
EHCA’s monthly meeting is at 7pm.
The next computer training workshop for teens will meet at the EBSC on Thursday, July 26th. This will run from 4-6pm and teens ages 17-20 are welcome to attend.
The next Namastay Sober community class will run from 5:15-6:15pm at The Point EB.
The Boston East Community Art Gallery’s grand opening reception will be from 5:30-7:30pm at boston east.
Friends of the EBG’s monthly meeting is at 6:30pm.
Free kayaking at Constitution Beach is available from 11am-5pm on Thursdays-Sundays through the end of August.
