Weekend Events: May 11th Edition

Attention dog owners! There is a clean-up at Bremen Street Dog Park tomorrow, May 12th, starting at 10am.
The library is hosting a salary negotiation workshop from 10am-1pm.
Eastie Farm is hosting their annual Tierra Bella Celebration from 10am-3pm. There will be seedlings for sale as well as farm tours, drum circle, music, food, face painting, etc!
The next $5 community class at The Point EB is from 12-1pm.
The next Yu-Gi-Oh club for teens at the library is from 1-4pm.
Yoga en Espanol Boston is hosting an open house from 11am-1pm on Sunday, May 13th (Mother’s Day).
The East Boston Kids Pop-Up Choir will meet at the library on Monday, May 14th from 5-6pm. They will also meet on Thursday of next week.
The next community dance workshop series will meet at Paris St Gym from 5-6pm. This will run weekly through May.
The library is hosting a writing workshop for all ages from 6-7pm.
JPNA’s monthly meeting is at 7pm.
The next Recycled Art Workshop is from 11am-1pm on Tuesday, May 15th.
The next ESL and computer skills class for BPS parents is at the YMCA from 10am-12:30pm. This will also meet on Wednesday.
The next Eliot School Tinkering and Inventions Program will be at the library at 4pm. This is a problem-solving program for children ages 7-10.
The next Tech Goes Home class will meet from 6-8pm.
There is a public meeting regarding the Orient Heights Redevelopment Project from 6:30-8:30pm at the Orient Heights Community Room.
All are welcome to attend Coffee With a Cop from 9-10am at Americano Espresso Bar on Wednesday, May 16th.
EBNHC will host their monthly baby shower from 12-1pm.
The next East Boston YMCA art class for kids ages 6-12 will meet from 4-5pm.
The next Wednesday night Zumba class at the Marty Pino Gym will run from 6:30-7:30pm.
The next Namastay Sober community class will run from 5:15-6:15pm at The Point EB.
The next Power of Parenting Workshop begins at 5:30pm at the EBSC. This is aimed for parents who have children ages birth-3 years.
Atlantic Works Gallery’s new exhibit, The Revolution Will Not Be, is on display during the month of May. Go check it during visiting hours, 6-9pm!
