Weekend Events: May 17th Edition
Hello, friends! After a bit of a hiatus, we are back with our weekly articles giving you a breakdown of events that are going on here in Eastie during the upcoming week. Take a look below to see what’s going on this weekend.
There is a seedling sale tonight at Eastie Farm from 5-7pm. They will have a wide assortment of edibles and flowers. Bring cash! They will also be selling them on Sunday from 12-2pm.
First Priority Bank is hosting a free paper shredding event on Saturday, May 18th, from 8:30am-12:30pm.
PLAN: East Boston is hosting a walking tour in Jeffries Point from 10am-12pm.
The Annual Bicycle Safety Day is at the Salesian Boys & Girls Club from 10am-12pm. Bring your bicycle for a safety check! There will be free helmet giveaways, a bicycle rodeo, refreshments, and more.
The next SAT Prep Course at the library is from 10am-12:30pm.
The next community class at The Point EB kicks off at 12pm.
Calling all parents! Harbor City School is hosting their annual FUN’raiser scholarship night at ZUMIX. There will be free apps, cash bar, a live band, and a great selection of raffle & silent auction items to bid on.
The next Fresh Truck mobile food market will be down Maverick Square on Monday, May 20th, from 3-6pm.
There will be a Coffee With a Cop event at La Sultana Bakery on Wednesday, May 22nd, from 9-10am.
The next Wednesday night Zumba Class runs from 6:30-7:30pm at the Marty Pino gym.
There is a public meeting at the East Boston YMCA regarding development of 2 Ford St. The meeting starts at 6:30pm.
The next Senior Social Club at the library is Thursday, May 23rd, from 1-3pm.
The library is also hosting an event called The Queen Mary: Film and Lecture from 6-7:45pm.
Friends of the East Boston Greenway’s monthly meeting is at 6:30pm.
