Weekend Events: May 25th Edition
Happy Friday, Eastie! Surprisingly, there aren't too many events going on this weekend. However, it’s a long weekend so we are wishing everyone a Happy Memorial Day weekend! Let’s all take a minute and remember why we celebrate this amazing holiday.
The Fair Foods $2 Bags of Produce will be available at the EBNHC from 2:30-4pm today. Remember, this is a first-come, first-serve, CASH ONLY event.
The next food and writing workshop at the library will meet from 2:30-4:30pm on Saturday, May 26th.
The next $5 community class at The Point EB is from 12-1pm.
The next Yu-Gi-Oh club for teens at the library is from 1-4pm.
The next Fresh Truck Food (Mobile) Market will be down Maverick Square from 3-6pm on Monday, May 28th (Memorial Day).
The next free community dance workshop is at Paris St Gym from 5-6pm. This will run weekly through May.
The next ESL and computer skills class for BPS parents is at the YMCA from 10am-12:30pm on Tuesday, May 29th. This will also meet on Wednesday.
The next Recycled Art Workshop is from 11am-1pm.
The next Eliot School Tinkering and Inventions Program will be at the library at 4pm. This is a problem-solving program for children ages 7-10.
GSCA’s monthly meeting will be from 6:30-8:30pm at the Catherine Leonard-McLean Community Room (formerly Noddle Island Community Room).
The next East Boston YMCA art class for kids ages 6-12 will meet from 4-5pm on Wednesday, May 30th.
The next Wednesday night Zumba class at the Marty Pino Gym will run from 6:30-7:30pm.
EHCA’s monthly meeting is at 7pm at the high school.
The next computer training workshop for teens will meet on Thursday, May 31st, at the EBSC. This will run from 4-6pm and teens ages 17-20 are welcome to attend.
The next Namastay Sober community class will run from 5:15-6:15pm at The Point EB.
The next Power of Parenting Workshop begins at 5:30pm at the EBSC. This is aimed for parents who have children ages birth-3 years.
Atlantic Works Gallery’s new exhibit, The Revolution Will Not Be, is on display during the month of May. Go check it during visiting hours, 6-9pm!
