Weekend Events: November 30th Edition
Happy Friday, Eastie! We are officially stepping into December this weekend.. Crazy! Fun holiday events are happening over the next few weekends so be sure to check them out.
DCR staff are leading a nature walk at Belle Isle Marsh at 8:30am on Saturday, December 1st.
The next $5 community class at The Point EB is from 12-1pm.
The next Yu-Gi-Oh club for teens at the library is from 1-4pm.
The Annual Toys for Tots Party will be kicking off at Post 6 at 7pm. Come dressed in your favorite ugly sweater and be sure to bring a new, unwrapped toy.
East Boston Athletic Board’s Annual Tailgate party is on Sunday, December 2nd from 2-8pm. There will be football, food, raffles, etc.
The Mayor’s 2018 Enchanted Trolly Tour will be making its way to Central Square around 5pm. Enjoy a visit with Santa, holiday performances and the tree lighting.
Comedy Night is back at MMC and kicks off at 8pm.
The next Fresh Truck Food (Mobile) Market will be down Maverick Square from 3-6pm on Monday, December 3rd.
There is an info session for the upcoming hospitality and customer service training workshop at Maverick Landing from 6-8pm.
HVNA’s monthly meeting is at 6:30pm.
The next Power of Parenting workshop at the EBSC is from 10am-12pm on Tuesday, December 4th. Parents of children ages 3-8 are welcome to come together with other local parents to learn new and fun ways to support your child's learning and growth!
The next Recycled Art Workshop is from 11am-1pm.
The Maverick Square tree lighting event starts at 4:30pm. There will be holiday music, refreshments, and treats provided.
The next tech workshop, Technology Goes Home (and to work), kicks off at 6pm at Maverick Landing.
The next Wednesday night Zumba class at the Marty Pino Gym will run from 6:30-7:30pm on Wednesday, December 5th.
Craft Table & Bar is hosting a 5-course wine pairing dinner from 6:30-8:30pm on Thursday, December 6th.
The newest Atlantic Works Gallery exhibit, MIRANDA, is on display until the end of the month. The opening reception is on Saturday from 6-9pm. Gallery hours will be 2-6pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
