Weekend Events: November 9th Edition
Happy Friday, Eastie! We are wishing everyone an enjoyable Veteran’s Day weekend and are sending many thanks to all who have served this country! This year marks the 100th Anniversary of WWI!
Here's a list of what's going on this weekend.
The Fair Foods $2 Bags of Produce will be available at the EBNHC from 2:30-4pm today. Remember, this is a first-come, first-serve, CASH ONLY event.
The Point EB is hosting Reiki Circle tonight at 7:15pm.
The next parent-child playgroup at the library is on Saturday, November 10th, from 10-11am.
The next $5 community class at The Point EB is from 12-1pm.
The next Yu-Gi-Oh club for teens at the library is from 1-4pm on Saturday, October 6th.
The library is hosting City of Boston Artist Dariel Suarez and the Back Porch Collaborative for a reading and panel discussion on the theme of There & Here: Global Perspectives.
There will be Tea & Talk on the Greenway from 3-6pm. Enjoy music while sipping tea and talking with your Eastie neighbors! This event will run weekly through the end of the month.
The next Fresh Truck Food (Mobile) Market will be down Maverick Square from 3-6pm on Monday, November 12th.
JPNA’s monthly meeting is at 7pm.
The next Power of Parenting workshop at the EBSC is from 10am-12pm on Tuesday, November 13th. Parents of children ages 3-8 are welcome to come together with other local parents to learn new and fun ways to support your child's learning and growth!
The next Recycled Art Workshop is from 11am-1pm.
The next tech workshop, Technology Goes Home (and to work), kicks off at 6pm at Maverick Landing. This will run for eight weeks.
The next Wednesday night Zumba class at the Marty Pino Gym will run from 6:30-7:30pm on Wednesday, November 14th.
There is a Plan East Boston community workshop at the EBSC from 6:30-8:00pm.
JPNA’s P+Z meeting is at 7pm.
