Weekend Events: October 12th Edition
Happy Saturday, Eastie! We have some fun events happening this week so check them out below.
All are welcome to join State Rep. Adrian Madaro at his coffee hour at Americano Espresso Bar from 10am-12pm today.
The library is hosting the East Boston Edition of the Boston Book Festival from from 10am-4pm.
Suffolk University is hosting a Rams Nation family event at Memorial Park from 12-3pm. Enjoy refreshments and music by Suffolk Free Radio, play games, cheer on the men’s soccer team, and more!
The next Yu-Gi-Oh club for teens at the library is from 1-4pm.
The Point EB is hosting Brewga at 2pm.
The library is hosting a teen writing workshop from 3-4pm with author Daniel Jose Older.
There will be Tea & Talk on the Greenway from 3-6pm. Enjoy music while sipping tea and talking with your Eastie neighbors! This event will run weekly through November.
The library is hosting a free bilingual writing workshop on Monday, October 15th, from 12-1:30pm.
The next Fresh Truck Food (Mobile) Market will be down Maverick Square from 3-6pm on Monday, October 8th.
MLCS is hosting a community dinner from 6-8pm.
OHNC’s monthly meeting is at 6:30pm.
The next Power of Parenting workshop at the EBSC is from 10am-12pm on Tuesday, October 16th. Parents of children ages 3-8 are welcome to come together with other local parents to learn new and fun ways to support your child's learning and growth!
The next Recycled Art Workshop is from 11am-1pm.
The next Tech Goes Home workshop is from 12:30-2:30pm at the library. This will meet again on Thursday.
The Point EB is hosting a Strength & Sweat class at 6pm.
The EBNHC is hosting their monthly baby shower from 12-1pm on Wednesday, October 17th.
The next Wednesday night Zumba class at the Marty Pino Gym will run from 6:30-7:30pm.
The new exhibit at Atlantic Works Gallery, Invasive Species, is now on display. The opening reception is Saturday from 6-9pm and then gallery hours will run from 2-6pm every Friday and Saturday through the end of the month.
